Lange Ski Boots

LANGE 

Lange is now part of the Rossignol Group. Initially it began in 1948 producing ski boots. In 1962 Lange produced the first ski boot with laces. in 1965 Lange started to produce a modern look ski boot with clips to fasten the plastic boots. in 1967 came their first World Cup win. 1968 saw Lange produce the first specific ski boot for women - up until then all ski boots were made for men. 1970  - Lange strated the first glamour pictures with lady skiers to advertise their ski boots. Iconic images of women posing in Lange ski boots becomes a trademark of the brand Including stars like Pamela Anderson over the years, the “Lange Girl” is later modernized, becoming the “Lange Icon”, showcasing Lange’s elite-level female athletes including Tina Maze and Dominique Gisin. Lange produces and designs their first specific competition / race ski boot. in 1971 and subsequently athletes wearing their boots win three gold medals in Sapporo Japan. In 1978 Lange's first ski boot with easy to use buckles is made and becomes the basis for many years of innovation and development culminating in Lange being on the feet of many of the medal winning Skiers at Sochi Olympics in 2014. In the meantime Lange have produced skiboots for all types of skiing from Racing to recreational and also Freeriding. Lange Skiboots were on the feet of the winner of Verbier Xtreme Freeride Championship and they continue to strive for the best ski boots possible.
