Ski Binding Mounting for skis purchased from Glide & Slide

We’re pleased to offer free ski binding mounting when you purchase skis and bindings together, either through our website or in-store at our shop in Otley, West Yorkshire. To ensure your bindings are set up correctly and safely, we’ll need the following information:

Your ski boot sole length in millimetres – this is usually embossed on the heel of both ski boots)
Your height
Your weight
Your age
Your skiing ability type (see chart below)

These details are essential for calculating your correct DIN setting – the tension level at which your bindings will release during a fall to reduce the risk of injury.

Please note: For the most accurate setup, we recommend visiting the shop in person. This allows us to conduct a full boot-to-binding fit and complete essential safety checks. If we don't have the physical boot, we will mount the bindings using your provided information, but you must have the final settings professionally checked by a technician at your local or resort ski shop before use.
In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we carry out all services with reasonable care and skill. However, if the ski boot was not available for a final safety check, we cannot accept liability for incorrect DIN settings.
