DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) is the standard scale for ski binding release force. Lower values release more easily, higher values hold more firmly.
Skier Code is determined by your weight, height, and boot sole length — whichever gives the highest code is used.
Age adjustment: Skiers under 10 or 50+ get a one-step reduction for safety.
Boot sole length can be found printed on the side or bottom of your ski boot, typically between 250mm and 380mm.
